The Circuit Sports Extended Lower Ball Joints for the Mazda Miata NA/NB 1990-2005 are a direct replacement, bolt-on unit that will give you -2 more degrees of camber instantly and allow for a camber adjustment range somewhere roughly between -0.5 and -4 degrees. Over time, the dust boot on your OE ball joints can deteriorate, introducing dirt and other particulates into the joint. This can cause clunking, vibration, and/or excessive tire wear. Our lower ball joints are made with high quality components and are built and assembled by an ISO9001:2000 certified manufacturer: including forged housing/stud, high quality rubber boot, and oxidation/corrosion resistant silver zinc coating. Each unit is also built to tight tolerances, which allows for a 40% stiffer improvement of the ball stud joint over OE and allows for greater durability and longevity. Purchase includes high grade nuts and cotter pins for easy and direct installation. Professional wheel alignment highly recommended after install; we suggest extending the inner tie rods by a few mm on each side to compensate for the toe-in.

*Sold in pairs (Price is for two lower ball joints)

The benefits of installing ELBJs include:

1. Restoring Suspension Geometry: Lowering a vehicle alters its suspension geometry, often leading to a lowered roll center. ELBJs help raise the roll center back to a more optimal position, enhancing handling characteristics.

2. Reducing Body Roll: By adjusting the roll center, ELBJs decrease body roll during cornering, allowing for more stable and predictable handling. This adjustment can enable the use of softer springs and sway bars, improving ride comfort without compromising performance.

3. Improving Steering Response: Users have reported that vehicles equipped with ELBJs exhibit quicker turn-in and require less steering input, enhancing the overall driving experience.

4. Increasing Negative Camber: Some ELBJs are designed to provide additional negative camber, which can improve tire contact with the road during aggressive cornering, benefiting performance driving and track applications.

5. Mitigating Bump Steer: Properly installed ELBJs can reduce bump steer, leading to a smoother and more controlled ride over uneven surfaces.
